Cucumer and Elderflower Firming Eye Gel Review
May 04, 2019
Recently Amphora Aromatics brought out their Cucumber & Elderflower Firming Eye Gel. Which gives tired eyes a natural lift. Over the time I have blogged this is my third review by Amphora Aromatics and to say I love the brand is an understatement. I have high expectations on their products and so far they haven't failed me. So, what is my opinion of the Firming Eye Gel you may be wondering. Well, keep reading to find out!
Who are Amphora Aromatics? Well, they are a company based in Bristol specialising in aromatherapy and natural skincare. In 2018 they were awarded two 2018 natural beauty awards (Green parent's natural beauty awards and Natural health magazines beauty awards). They also won the 2018 beauty shortlist awards.
The Cucumber & Elderflower Firming Eye Gel is a wonderfully refreshing and revives the delicate skin under the eyes and is made with natural plant extracts. Featuring Cucumber, which helps reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes as well as tighten the skin. Elderflower with a hint of soothing aloe helps to soften the skin. The eye gel is suitable for all skin types, vegans and is paraben free.
The eye gel is easy to use. You have to simply apply a pea sized drop and gently massage it into the skin under the eyes, with finger tips (fingertips are very gentle and you need to be gentle with the delicate skin under the eyes). For an extra cooling effect, store in the fridge before use though this isn't necessary.
Ingredients:
Aloe Vera, Glycerine, Cucumber, Elderflower Aqua, Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerine, Carbomer, Sambucus nigra Flower Extract, Cucumis sativus Fruit Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium, EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.
*The cucumber and elderflower firming eye gel was kindly gifted to me by Amphora Aromatics however all thoughts are my own

Aloe Vera helps to cool, calm and sooth skin and is a known to harness natural anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties which can promote cell growth.
Glycerine has a great moisturising and hydrating properties and the cucumber extract helps to nourish and hydrate the skin and is a great astringent for the skin. Elderflower is a naturally soothing, balancing and firming to the skin.
The packaging is recyclable and in a 50ml pump bottle, which is easy to use. The pump bottle is ideal for everyday use and travelling and it only costs £6.95 which personally I think is a complete steal. All amphora aromatics products are very reasonably priced which is good for anyone, especially if you are on a tight budget.
