House of sparklez uk | cosmetic glitters

March 22, 2019
I have seen House of Sparklez UK; a vegan, cruelty-free brand. Which I’ve seen on Instagram for a long while and heard loads of people raving that it was one of their favourite brands and that their prices are really affordable, unlike others . I decided that I would buy a couple of their products to see what they were like because as you all know I love makeup a lot.. House of Sparklez UK sell a range of glitters, highlighters and false eyelashes but as I don’t wear false eyelashes and have more than enough highlighters. So I decided for the moment to buy two glitters.

Each glitter is sold individually in pots and retail at £2.50 which is incredibly cheap considering most brands sell their glitters for £4 or more. On the plus House of Sparklez UK's glitters are 100% cosmetic, hypoallergenic and biodegradable which is amazing considering a lot of companies glitters aren’t. There is a choice between fine glitter and chunky glitter depending on what you are wanting and I paid £2 for delivery which I found was very reasonable. Currently they have a deal to get 10 glitters for £10 (22/3/19)

I bought both Amber and Unicorn Dust which are fine glitters.  I love glitters for nights out of for dramatic eye makeup looks.

Both of these glitters have 3 grams of glitter in the pot, which is a reasonable amount. House of Sparklez recommend using their Glitter Fix glue with their glitters but as I already own the Collection glue I didn’t buy it. However, when mine runs out I will definitely be trying the Glitter Fix as it looks like an amazing product.

How to use the glitter
1. Apply the Glitter Fix (glue) to the area you wish to add/ put the glitter.
2. Leave it to go tacky (leave for a few seconds)
3. Apply the glitter on top (lightly dust it on or pack it on)
4. If you want the glitter to be denser, apply another layer of Glitter Fix over the top and add more Loose Glitter.

How to remove
Wash it off with warm soapy water or use a makeup wipe. If using on the eye, close eye and wipe from inner corner towards your ear.

I am really impressed with my glitters. The quality of the product is outstanding whilst still being vibrant in colour. I'd say that unicorn dust is finer than amber but they both still apply easily and have an amazing shine. Unicorn dust is THE perfect colour for the inner corner as it just pops incredibly.

These are the best loose glitters for eyes I have tried. House of Sparklez UK have done an incredible job creating these glitters. The quality of the product is great and it hasn't caused me any issues, which is perfect for me as some glitters can cause irritation for me. The price of the glitters are affordable and great for people who are not sure about using cosmetic glitter or are just starting to use it. House of Sparklez UK is definitely becoming one of my favourites for fine glitter eyeshadow.

Have you ever purchased  anything from House of Sparklez UK? If so, what did you think about the products and what did you buy? I am always looking for new up and coming brands to try. So, let me know if you have any Instagram or makeup makeup brands in general that you think I should try
